Research Interests
- Surface chemistry of halogens with nano-particulate gold on carbon substrates, utilising a range of surface sensitive methods (STM, XPS, LEED, AFM).
- Oxy-chlorination of CO on supported copper catalysts to generate phosgene.
- DFT calculations of the surfaces and reactants of interest to the project.
