Dr Hanna Barriga

Hanna has over 10 years of experience engineering and characterizing novel lipid systems for biomedical applications. She specializes in lipid membrane biophysics with a focus on understanding disease pathways from a lipid perspective. Hanna’s research spans the physical-life sciences interface and includes academic and industrial partners across Europe. She has extensive experience leading biophysical characterization of lipid systems using small angle X-ray and neutron scattering (SAXS / SANS) techniques to understand the relationship between structure and function. NTx’s co location at Research Complex with Diamond Light Source and ISIS Muon and Neutron source offers usa unique opportunity to combine a nanoscale understanding of our LNP products with improved performance as they innovate from the benchtop and towards the clinic.
