Dr Max Winokan

Max is a postdoctoral research associate at Diamond Light Source, working as part of the international and open science antiviral drug discovery consortium ASAP (https://asapdiscovery.org).  As part of ASAP, Max is coordinating the algorithmic and formulaic approaches to fragment merging and elaboration, preparing data for robotic synthesis to extend catalogue space, and development of the online platform for protein structure Fragalysis.

Max grew up in the Netherlands before moving to the University of Surrey for his Masters in Physics and PhD in Quantum/Computational Chemistry.
