Dr Cedric Vallee

Cedric joined the electron Bio-Imaging Centre (eBIC) in October 2023 as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate (PDRA) to work on the Bacterial Chemotaxis project in Dr. Peijun Zhang’s lab.

Prior to joining eBIC, Cedric did his Ph.D in Quantum Biology at the University of Surrey. His Ph.D project focused on investigating ion selectivity in ion channels using both experimental and computational approaches. Cedric used different modelling methods to study the molecular mechanisms of ion permeation such as Molecular Dynamics and Density Functional Theory.
