Eleanor Teather

Eleanor completed her BSc in Natural Sciences with a major in chemistry at the University of Birmingham, followed by a MSc in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Sheffield. She studied superconductors in her undergraduate dissertation and quantum magnetic states for her masters. Eleanor joined Robin Perry’s group in 2022 through the CDT in Advanced Materials Characterisation (CDT-ACM). She will be working on characterising new transparent conducting oxides, to seek out more financially and environmentally sustainable options. Eleanor also has a strong interest in EDI and making the sciences accessible to all.

Research Interests

Eleanor’s research interests are in the relationship between the properties of electronic or magnetic ceramics and their crystal structures.
