Dr Ratul Biswas
Dr. Ratul Kumar Biswas is working with Dr. Alex Leung and Prof. Peter Lee as a PDRF on Chemical Imaging in Additive Manufacturing at the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus and UCL. Before joining as a PDRF, he pursued his PhD on Laser Carbonization of Polyimide using Continuous Wave CO2 laser and femtosecond IR laser from the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG). He has expertise in laser-materials interaction and thin film deposition techniques and has published 6 papers till his PhD. Before his Ph.D., he finished his M.Tech. in Materials Science from IIT Bombay, and M.Sc.-B.Sc. in Applied Chemistry from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira (Affiliated to the University of Calcutta). In his free time, he loves travelling and cooking.
