Dr Jack Swallow
Jack obtained his undergraduate and PhD at the University of Liverpool, studying in the department of physics, where he focused on understanding factors affecting the performance of wide band gap metal-oxide semiconductors and transparent conducting oxides. He then joined the Weatherup Group as a PDRA.

The focus of Jack's work is the understanding the growth and electronic structure of 2-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides for application in electrocatalysis. Additionally, he is involved in developing novel characterization capabilities in x-ray spectroscopy.
