Dr Tiffany Walmsley

Tiffany completed an MSc in Chemical Physics with Honors at the University of Edinburgh between 2016-2020. She undertook a placement for her final year at Nagoya University in 2019-2020, working on “Asymmetric fragment emission of tetrahedral molecules using two-colour intense laser fields" under the supervision of Prof. Akiyoshi Hishikawa.

From 2020-2024, she completed a DPhil in Chemistry at the University of Oxford (Jesus College) studying “Coulomb Explosion Imaging and Covariance Analysis of Concurrent Fragmentation Mechanisms" under the supervision of Dr Michael Burt.

Tiffany started working as an experimental scientist at the CLF in 2024, focussing on gas-phase reaction dynamics and high harmonic generation.
