Dr Charlotte Sanders

Charlotte obtained her PhD in physics from University of Texas at Austin before moving onto postdoctoral researcher positions at the University of Science and Technology of China and National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Colorado, USA. In 2015, she obtained a researcher position at Aarhus University where she later became Assistant Professor before joining the Central Laser Facility in late 2018.

Research Interests

Experimental solid state physics, with a focus on surfaces, interfaces, and systems in low dimensions. Electronic structure, correlated states, light-matter interaction. Photoemission spectroscopy, scanning probe microscopy, and epitaxial crystal growth.
