Imaging and control Technician
The School of Materials wishes to appoint a suitably qualified and highly motivated individual as a Technician for the EPSRC-funded Manchester X-ray Imaging Facility (MXIF) based at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratories (RAL), Oxfordshire. The MXIF is unique in the UK, developing and applying novel tomographic imaging experiments and analysis for applications across a range of engineering applications. The Facility has two sites, with laboratory scale tomographic instruments at the University of Manchester, while the RAL based facility is focused on developing in situ experiments for applications on the Diamond Light Source Synchrotron, as well as Neutron and Laser applications.
