Nicola Blackwood visits the Research Complex
Nicola Blackwood, MP for Oxford West and Abingdon, visited the Research Complex on 11 February 2011. Although not a scientist herself, she recently moved the debate on science research in Parliament. She saw a wide range of research in progress, from watching individual molecules implicated in cancer moving in live cells under a microscope, to how materials react to extreme pressures in the Earth’s core.
