New website for the Research Complex at Harwell

We are pleased to announce that we’ve commissioned a company to develop a new website for us. The site will go live in the first half of the year.

We asked three web development agencies to pitch for the work and we selected local website and software development company Alberon.

Sadie Primmer, Business Support Manager, said: “We chose Alberon because we felt they really understand what we do here. They also develop software so they will be helping us with our various software requirements. We liked their approach, which is to speak face to face with our various stakeholders and users and hear first-hand why they moved here and how they benefit from being here.”

The key purpose of the new website is to attract the world’s leading scientists and their teams to carry out their work at RCaH. We also want it to stimulate an interest in science in schoolchildren. The website will promote the work of the Research Complex and its key stakeholders, and provide information on its facilities, access, funding, and booking where relevant. It will be mobile-friendly and have an intuitive content management system so users can update content easily.

Tim Ault from Alberon commented: “We are really delighted to be working with the team at RCaH and look forward to producing a website that really connects with scientists and encourages them to move here.”
