Research Complex hosts visit by Chinese Academy of Sciences

The Research Complex was visited on 17 September 2010 by a delegation from the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), led by its president, Professor Lu Yong Xiang. Professor Lu toured the building, and was interested to see the breadth of disciplines brought together under one roof in close proximity to the Diamond synchrotron and ISIS neutron source. The CAS is currently building a neutron spallation source similar to ISIS and has recently completed a new synchroton.
